It’s Beginning to Look Like a Bridge !
Spans 6 and 7 have been set.
This is where the railroad bridge will be placed.
We are grateful for a pretty mild winter that enabled the work on the Connector Trail to continue. The bridge itself is being constructed by Anderson Bridges of Colfax, Wi. It will be placed on these piers. The bridge is over 900 feet long. Taken Sunday Feb.23,2020
The Trail to Winona
Old Highway 54 is being cleared. It will be a wide, beautiful path for walking and biking which will connect Winona to Wisconsin. The old highway is in pretty good shape and will be put to good use again.
